The gun is very accurate with several different 500 grain bullets....CEB Solid, Northfork Solid, Northfork Cup Point Solid and Northfork Soft.

It feeds all of the above in any order.

The iron sights are very useable. The front bead was filed flat and shows up well.

The stand up fixed sight shoots to the POA at 50 yds and is still pretty much at zero at 100 yds.

The flip up rear sight is exactly 6" high at 100 yds, which should put it at Zero for 200 yds.....I haven't actually shot the irons at 200 yds to confirm (based on ballistic tables), but will.

I have had the scope on and off several times. The scope returns to zero. It is very quick to remove (grasp scope with right hand, push rear release button in with right thumb and rotate scope up and off)....one handed operation and I don't have to look at the rifle to do it.

The trigger is excellent.....it breaks clean with no creep......don't know the trigger pull weight, but I would not change it.

The lock-up time on the Satterlee action firing pin is very fast......I have a 416 Rigby on a GMA action and there seems like there is a big difference in the spring strength between the two actions.

I have shot the iron sights with the hood on and off....I prefer to take the hood off. Will leave the hood on for travel only (protect the front sight).

The gun balances well and the sights line up for me when I mount the gun.

Recoil.....yeah it is there, but I have shot it enough that it doesn't bother me....I'm not thinking about it.
