I have not been able to find screws lately that fit the quality that I want, so I am going to make a batch.

I wanted to see how much, if any interest there was.

There will be two types.

One will have a large head, with no slot, so you can index accordingly after you finish inletting, 4140 for durability and ease of heat treating if you want.

Two will be "standard" size, with a domed head and a thinner slot. Maybe .020" but probably .032", made from 12L14 and case hardened.

Both will have correct 55* threads, with a pitch diameter on the upper end of the limit.

For what it 's worth...Will Nelson bolught my entire inventory of ocversized guard screws made from 4320 (High head)....something like a hundred of each uncledeck 21 @ yahoo.com.

Build it, and they will come.

Well, I have requests for about 20 sets so far. Tooling will be 6-8 weeks so no rush in getting things put together. Will be a nice early 2022 project.

One clarification, the over sized head will have a small slot in it for initial indexing.
