"Vintage" Schmidt & Bender for a build
I have a 7x57 (1909 Peruvian) build in the works and I am starting to think about what glass to use. I'm a dedicated Leopold guy but lately I have been thinking about Schmidt & Bender. I'm not a fan of their newer designs with the larger ocular so I am thinking about "vintage" scopes. I really don't need anything more powerful than 6x, and 4x is probably ideal.

Two questions: what models should I be on the look out for and where is a good place to find one.

Thanks,

JDG

There is a rumour in Germany that they make 4x36 aluminium in very small batches if ther is sufficient demand. I am very happy with mine.
