This is a beautiful rifle!
Do these cocking-piece mounted peep-sights work well? I have never used one, although a .250 Savage my uncle used to own had one. But it also had a scope. On that particular rifle, it felt like there was quite a lot of play on the cocking piece, but I guess main-spring pressure could make sure it ends up in the same place every time?

This is the first rifle I did with this sight so I have no idea \how it will work. It appear to be very well made

Nice job, Jim! Those cocking piece sights are shown in some of the old gunsmithing books, had a couple tricks to keep them lined up i.e. spring plunger under the bolt sleeve. But..they do look jive!

This is the first rifle I did with this sight so I have no idea \how it will work. It appear to be very well made
