The buttplate is an older "Neidner" from Brownell's, it is built on a standard 98 action

Are those scope bases Kimbers? How much for the rifle?

Very nice Mr. Kobe.
The bases look like the ones Mr. Kobe put on my 09 Argie that are his design for Talleys.

Nice looking rifle. Question for the stockmakers. I notice that sometimes the stock is contoured to the lines of the stripper clip thumb cut and on others the stock comes straight back to the bolt release. I presume that is just a matter of personal taste. Any other explanations pro or con?

Beautiful! I love the blued extractor and collar.

What kind of bolt handle is that? It has a nice shape...

That was one of the last "McFarland" checkered bolt knobs.

Although I'm not a stock maker, for me it's a matter of personal taste. I have that same look on my 1936 Mexican. I didn't expose the vent just forward of the slot either. I like the continuity of the top edge of the stock.
