Mauser Action Price Check
Thinking of reducing the number of actions I have in the safe. Having trouble with the value now days.

A 4 digit H ring FN action. Bolt face opened to magnum.

Early model MKX std magnum action. This is NOT a speedloc version. The floor release is in the trigger guard.

What are the ball park values??

As usual just my $.02

This may not directly answer your question, but the market determines price; (personal opinions on value can be helpful, but don't really mean much unless someone is willing to actually open their wallet...)

I would recommend putting it on Gunbroker to get some exposure and open it up to competitive bidding. Set a starting amount or reserve you are comfortable with and see where it goes.

Having said that, I've seen what I consider reasonable asking prices for actions in the $250-350 range, but not sure what they are closing the deal at. Most of the ones I have bought have been in past years and prices tend to go up...

Thanks to everyone that answered here and via PM. I sure would love to find some of those FN C ring rifles with scope for $250 that people reference. Eeker

At their current price I think I'll simply move them to the other shelf and keep them. Who knows I might need a magnum again someday.

Have a good one. coffee

A man can hardly have too many Mauser actions laying around. IIRC, I hve six. Or seven. I dunno, maybe eight now...
