Man, the stock is going to ship to the gunsmith this week. Barrel is ready cut, threaded, chambered, crowned, and ready for instalation. I should be able to see all the parts by the end of the week... I think we should guestimate the weight.

CZ 550 action
Kreiger #2 barrel 24"
MPI classic lightweight stock

We are going to glass in the bottom and convert to a blind mag well.

My guess 5 lbs 6 oz (I hope for under 5 but...)

oh, I make sure that I always have a few rifles on order so you get something every 8 months to a year or so.

I'll guess closer to 7lb. Still plenty light imo.

It's easy. Just order something that is so expensive you don't know where the money to pay for it will come from. It will be there in no time.

By the same token, don't ever pay in advance. It will never arrive.

Bang On!!

What I try to do is order something that will take a couple of years or more to have built just for me. And I try to pay for it in about 4 payments, one up front and one every 8 months after that.

That lets me transfer my attention to cursing myself for having ordered it, because of the really great buys I'll see and have to pass on in the meantime! (Usually within about 10 days after having made the second payment, I'll see something I've been looking for [searching for years and years] at a 1940 or 1950 price!!)
