I am really fortunate in that I taking a class this week on stock inletting from James Tucker. He has shown us some of his work and it has awe struck me. It appears that the wood grew out of the metal. He is really one top notch stock maker and a really great teacher!!!

Pay attention as James is fantastic.

Anyone who claims the 30-06 is ineffective has either not tried one, or is unwittingly commenting on their own marksmanship

Phil, you are so right! I am doing a poorly (little harsh on my self first time ever inletting). No criticism, just plain helpful advise from James.

James did the new wood on my Holland & Holland Paradox 16 gauge. Flawless and absolutely beautiful!

When it comes to whittling out a wonderful custom stock and all that entails, there is none better than James Tucker. And, he is a fine man to boot.

In Steve Hughes book Rifles in black and white, he has a chapter on a James Tucker rifle, I believe a pre-64.
Nothing fancy, but it stands out above all the others in the book.

Who could share with us some pictures of stocks done James Tucker?
I would love to see some of his excellent work and the shape of his stocks.

Thanks
