bobby7321Custom M70 .270 WSM
Had this .270 WSM that really didn't shoot the way I wanted it to. So I started from scratch and ended up with this.
with the scope she comes in juuuust uder 8lbs.
stayed with .270 WSM
mcmillan edge, bartlein barrel, pacific tool bottom metal (aluminum), timney trigger, talley low rings/bases, swarovski z3 with BRH reticle. can't wait to get it out to the range here shortly.

Paul ReedBobby,
A super rifle and really classy work and look. What length barrel did you go for? That Z3 (and the Z5s too) are really underrated IMO...I think you will like the outfit and I bet it will shoot very well. What hunt do you have planned to christen her?
Thanks for sharing
Paul

bobby7321Thank you! I went with a 24" barrel. I love the z3s. I have 3 now. One on a .300 WSM and a .375 RUM. I love that scope.
I will probably take her out after some pigs here shortly. Then hopefully deer or maybe even sheep in the fall

BaxterBSuper nice. Love the flutes!
Great look in' rig, Bobby!
Tell us more about the barrel fluting. How many grooves and how deep are they?
As you know, I love those lightweight, super clear, and pretty tough Swarovski scopes. Solid choice. I used the same Talley one piece rings and bases too on my 300 WSM w/ a previous model Swarovski.
