Henri Dumoulin 416 Rigby
Just to bring to your attention another good rifle maker in Europe: Henri Dumoulin in Belgium. Here's a used 416 Rigby on a Magnum Mauser action for sale in Montargis, a couple of hours from Paris. Photos aren't high quality, but you'll get the idea. Dealer is asking 6,500 EUR, but this post is just to show you what the market in France is doing.

A new upgraded CZ 550 would cost you almost as much, but I know which I would rather have.

I owned a Dumoulin Mauser in 416 Rigby some time ago. It was an early one, with a 28" barrel! Pretty cool rifle.

Appears the barrel is on top of the fore end of the stock.

Yes, not set very deep, is it?
