Yes... and well done.

That looks beautiful. Any chance for some pictures of the rifle so that we can see the whole product?

Thanks for the kind replies. Here's a more few shots. A Roger Green build from 1985 in 280 Rem. His work is darn nice.

Both beautiful and perfectly functional.

I always wanted one of those Grisel custom small ring actions.

It does not get much better than that, IMHO.

Some day I will have the courage to attempt cutting a mullered border. In the meantime I'll keep drooling at the photos of that very fine rifle.

A very nice rifle.I like the California English walnut and the checkering. What action are we looking at?

Evan,
Cutting a mullard border is the easiest part of the checkering job..Order yourself a mullard border tool from Brownell and make the cuts..No need to fear it..Actually I think it was originally designed to cover up run overs but wouldn't swear to it, and its a wonderful touch, velly velly Engnlish.

It is 1 of 50 (#49 here) that Pete Grisel built prior to developing the M76 Dakota with Don Allen.

I dig 'em. Next one might have a CH action like the one heavenknows pictured. Nice colors.
