Are these mullered borders

on my Roger Green built 280?

Previously 500N with many thousands of posts !

Thanks for the kind replies. Here's a more few shots. A Roger Green build from 1985 in 280 Rem. His work is darn nice.

Both beautiful and perfectly functional.

I always wanted one of those Grisel custom small ring actions.

It does not get much better than that, IMHO.

Yes sir, a properly mullered border fore and not aft as should be on an English gun..add some iron sights!

Some day I will have the courage to attempt cutting a mullered border. In the meantime I'll keep drooling at the photos of that very fine rifle.

Evan,
Cutting a mullard border is the easiest part of the checkering job..Order yourself a mullard border tool from Brownell and make the cuts..No need to fear it..Actually I think it was originally designed to cover up run overs but wouldn't swear to it, and its a wonderful touch, velly velly Engnlish.

It is 1 of 50 (#49 here) that Pete Grisel built prior to developing the M76 Dakota with Don Allen.

Not mullered borders but a rifle with Grisel action.
Made long agoe and unfortunately I sold it.
Metal work and case hardening by Hartmann&Weiss.
Funk engraving.
Caliber 7mm Rem.
Pictures(esp. the colours are not so good because I had to scan my old copies.
Try to link the pincs.
