Cutting a mullard border is the easiest part of the checkering job..Order yourself a mullard border tool from Brownell and make the cuts..No need to fear it..Actually I think it was originally designed to cover up run overs but wouldn't swear to it, and its a wonderful touch, velly velly Engnlish.

Made long agoe and unfortunately I sold it.
Metal work and case hardening by Hartmann&Weiss.
Funk engraving.
Caliber 7mm Rem.
Pictures(esp. the colours are not so good because I had to scan my old copies.
Try to link the pincs.
Stockwork not by H&W.
