Can't find Vektor

DavidReedD’Arcy is making his own action now. There is a thread about half way down the Custom rifles page where it is discussed.
Echols LX-1 thread As far as H&W goes I don’t know the details of getting one but I’ve seen at least 3 rifles built by U.S. rifle makers that used a H&W Mauser action.

BiebsA friend has a Richardson & Roberts action in the white. I've heard they made 100 of them.

Mr. Roberts says around 50
"It's not a secret. There not made anywhere now But when we were making them, it was a collaborative effort between a gentleman named Bill Richardson and myself. He worked out of GMA's shop, I out of mine. Quite a few of the smaller parts were made at a wire EDM place in the midwest. We only produced around 50 actions."

I think Mr. Echol's actions are (were) factory Model 70 Winchester.

Kolo-Panno, I was talking about his present action that he used on his Legend Rifles. That is why I said are and (were) because I was aware of the new action (which is why I started the thread that you quoted your photos from.
P.s. i wonder why one doesn't see that ITALIAN mauser action imported into the US when it seems like just about every Italian O/U SHOTGUN is imported here.

Duane Wiebe (CG&R)The Concari is darn interesting, though I do not quite figure the barrel threading set up. Looks like a sleeving concept Pehaaps I'm just not familiar with the terminology used in Australia.
I've been one whno thinks any improvement to the 98 system is a step backward...But ....Cerainly have an open mind

But does it cost more than $200?
Concari would do themselves well to get a better Italian to English translation done on their website.

bghntr416Concari is also building a Farquharson...

No idea of pricing and availability, lots of eye candy there though. They even make integral barrels which plenty of people on here are interested in.

http://www.barnard.co.nz/actions.htmThere was somebody in New Zealand building Farquharson replicas.
Mayfair engineering does all sorts of stuff, bolts, Farquharsons and doubles.

4WDReimer Johanssen in Germany has a line of Mausers and I believe a Hagn action. The Mini Mauser they make for the Hornet to .223 is a piece of art but something like $5K for the action. They make several models up to the Rigby size that handles some of the .500’s.

Steve505,
I was thinking the same thing that Prechtl was making the actions for RJ. When I asked RJ at SCI, Dirk Johansson coyly responded his families business made the current line of actions. Not sure that is the truth. They look similar to Prechtl’s which I have owned, but all New German manufactured Version Mauser actions look similar. Blaser group is making their own actions now for their line of Rigby and Mauser brand rifles (they don’t sell actions). I have one of the Blaser group Mausers and it looks just like the Prechtl version they use to put in the Rigby and Mauser rifles. Anyhow only RJ lists the Mini Mauser and claim manufacturer. I emailed RJ asking if Prechtl makes their Mauser’s. I will report back if they answer my inquiry.

Peter ConnanSorry Rich, I missed that. Also missed Soroka, which is indeed the NZ Farquaharson I was thinking of (thanks Kurt).
So Mayfair is my only useful contribution.
I do have a couple of (mostly un-tested) designs for falling block actions, both under-lever and side-lever, traditional and perhaps more unorthodox, if an enterprising gunsmith wants to try making one or two. The legal hoops it would take for me to make them here seem insurmountable to me with my current resources (both time and money).

richjI've been updating the same top post. After your post I added Barnards distributor in the USA
