loud-n-boomerKent Porter - Did Rigby build any rifles on Lee Enfield actions?
Hi Kent.
Did Rigby build any rifles on Lee Enfield actions? If so, I would love to see photos of one or more.

John Rigby & Co.There are lots of entries in the ledgers for Lee Enfield match rifles and even Lee Enfield Sporting Best. The entries for the .275 Rigbys are for Mauser Sporting Best. I'll see if I can't find a picture. Anybody else have one?
Some of the match rifles are "sighted" for 1,000 yards. I even found a "Rigby Officers Lee Enfield Carbine sighted for 1,950 yards with Bayonet."

loud-n-boomerThanks, Ken. I have seen quite a few Lee Speeds and a few of the Lee Enfield target rifles, but have yet to see a Lee Enfield done up as a "Best Quality" sporter rifle from one of the U.K./Irish makers. It would be really interesting to see a few.
