Jim Zahn- Custom rifle maker.

I bought a custom pre-64 model 70 rifle at the Tulsa Gun show this last weekend made by Jim Zahn. His name is on the barrel and inside of the stock. For almost 50 years I have bought, handled and seen some of the best and finest custom rifles made. The inletting on this Zahn stock is the best I have ever seen. Who is this guy and does anyone know how to contact him?

Are you sure its Jim? And not James?

All I could find with my Google Fu, is James A Zahn of Oregon. Born 1923.

No,Its marked 'Jim Zahn'. Wallowa, Ore. I could not find anyone in Ore. by that name and he is not in the Guild membership.
