Custom Rifles and Classic Cars: Dave Wesbrook
Dave, Thanks for mentioning Floyd Warren. Hadn't heard his name in quite some time. Any reader of Gun Digest in the 60s, 70s should recognize his name. He and John Warren's work were often shown in the Art of the Engraver section of the book. John Warren was from the Boston area I believe. Floyd, in addition to engraving, was a very gifted fiddle player and wood carver. Floyd passed away about ten or more years ago from mesothelioma. He was a fine and very interesting fellow. TT

I have no claim to fame here but have had the pleasure to talking to Dave on the phone and via email or PM a few times. It was MY pleasure.

All I can say is: I'm a hack. Mr Wesbrook is a master!!!! Enough said.

Got to meet Dave at the Tulsa show where he handed me his CD with these pictures...I enjoy the hell out of em every time I look them over...but the pictures (very good) don't do real justice to seeing them on the show table, perfect craftsmanship!
