We are diminished
Just picked this off the ACGG members site.

Don Klein passed away Thursday, Don suffered for the last few years with dementia. I'll have more info later and will pass it along

It is my unhappy duty to inform the ACGG Membership that on 01-06-2018 Paul Dressel passed away. Details of his passing are unknown at this time. Please send your cards and notes to Sharon using the address of the shop.

Sharon Dressel will be handling the shop business. Anyone needing or wishing to talk with her can get contact info from our website membership listing.

Condolences to both families.

Tough to see the passing of so many of the old guard the past few months.

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!
- Rudyard Kipling

Life grows grim without senseless indulgence.

I had Don build two rifles, a 7X57 Mannlicher stocked on a Mex and a 257 half stock also on a Mex. It was a pleasure to work with him on both. He was a not only a fine craftsman but a fine gentleman as well. We talked on the phone often however about 3 years ago he no longer remembered me. Such a debilitating illness. RIP Don...

Don was first a gentleman in every respect and second one of the most versatile practitioners the trade ever produced. Always willing to help, teach and offer encouragement to others and multi talented on every level

He will be missed

My mother was superstitious and believed in (threes) Dressel, Haugh and Klein...Hope we can take a breather.

They all left a legacy of inspiration

That's a hard threesome to beat, Jack Haugh was always my mentor, Ive owned several of his rifles, wish not I had kept just one at least. My prayers to all and their family.
