M 98COR-BON ACTIONS
Does any one know if the Cor-bon actions ever got into production

Bryan WI don't believe they have unless Peter Pi sourced them from a different shop. The shop who made the first action has not made subsequent actions.

458WinI talked with Peter Pi at the SHOT show and he says the minimum run is 20 actions, which is a considerable cash outlay, and he is hoping to get 10 orders before ordering the first 20.

N E 450 No2I also talked with Peter at SCI and he told me the same thing.
I looked at his action and he explained its features and his thoughts on it.
Basically it combines some of the best features of the Mauser, with some of the best features of the Pre 64 Mod 70, like a coned breach and the original Mod 70 trigger.

A $5,000 Dakota? I understand the integral bolt, but the price would be a stopper. He needs to put a mauser bolt handle on it and then he might sell some.

458WinIt has some minor be benefits in feeding and some theoretical minor detriments in strength.
