JDA-COAm I the only one?
Lately I've been seeing a bunch of Dakota's for sale and some have been on the typical gun-sites for years! Most are bolt-guns, but have seen some M10's for sale as well. It just seems to me that these things are WAY over-priced for what you are getting. I had one in 300mag that I traded away a few years ago. It was a nice gun, but not worth the 5K I got in trade for it.
I recently picked up a custom Mauser that I think is every bit the quality of a Dakota and paid $2,400. The wood on mine beats what Dakota describes as "exhibition".
I'm shocked people buy them at those prices (or maybe they don't!).

Man... I don't know!
I've seen you post pics of that thing on other threads and thought maybe you should send that to me so you can feel like you've done at least one nice thing in your life!
That truly is a beautiful rifle!

Phil, yes, I feel silly having to wear the white suit and a Roentren monitor at the range when I shoot it :-)
