Timan404 Jeffery
No warping of the receivers was detectable. Hardness and case depth on the bolts was not an issue.

Duane Wiebe (CG&R)Well I did have one warp, but to be fair it was one that I had welded on a square bridge
Subsequent actions with this modification, I bolted on a pretty stout rail. Blanchard was fine with this, just heat treated the whole shebang...No warp!

ZekeShikarDuane,
That thing is sick....as the kids say.
I guess that means really good...in English.
Simply a graceful rifle!

TimanWarpage seems luck of draw. I have a theory on it.
Mauser cased the receivers and some warped some didn't.
The ones that did where straightened, basically bent back to straight, stressed to hold straight.
Re-case releases that stress and the part goes back to bent.
Normalize/anneal, inspect with alignment rod, adjust if needed. Fixate part re-case.

NakihunterBeautiful rifle with real classic fiddle back walnut.
It would cool to have an optional peep sight for the rear ring base and stored in the grip cap cavity.
