Laminated wood stock whose appearance is non-laminated?
Several years ago there was a company located in Kalispell, Montana, I believe, that offered built-to-order rifles made with a laminated wood (English or American walnut?) that appeared to be solid wood. I think they also offered stock blanks made from the same material.

Is there currently a source for such a laminated stock blank - if not from the company to which I refer, then from anyone else?

That was Mel Smart's company that made the stocks known as Serengeti Rifles today. What was once a reasonable high quality stock is no longer I believe.

Thanks for the information. Is the price no longer reasonable, or has the quality deteriorated?
