In need of a vz 24 action. Does not need to be in pristine condition as it will be completely re-done anyway. . . . . Checked Gunbroker but no luck, any ideas?

If you search for vz24 you may have better luck.

Vapodog always seems to have a VZ-24 action or two for sale.

Some brutal honsty here....yes I have a few complete rifles yet.....and I want $200 plus shipping for one.

They are very fine actions.....but I bought one for $175 a few weeks ago.....and yes....I needed it like a hole in the head.....

You can do better but my price reflects how bad I want to sell them.....

$200 is a good price for a clean example. Most FS for less are pretty rough. Alot of VZ24s seem to have been imported recently but when they are gone we'll all be wishing we had stockpiled more when they were cheap. Excellent Mauser project actions.

VZ.24s make into very nice practical rifles.
