Shilen Swap Meet- update
You missed a great time! We seriously had 6 times the amount of vendors and 3 times the amount of people. Frank Lane was there with a huge selection of deeply discounted HSS and carbide cutters of all type for your drill press, mills, and lathes. Where else can you get solid carbide endmills for $9 ea? Dan Killough from San Angelo brought a huge selection of Eley ammo, barrels, and other top rimfire parts. Dan and family are just great people. Jerry Stiller had a selection of his products. His Corvette couldn't hold more. Lots of rifles, pistols, and shotguns. A lot of powder, primers, and bullets were available as were a very large variety of reloading dies.
Don't miss it next year.

30378Once again the Shilen Swap Meet was a great event only minimally hampered by the weather. Early morning hours were around 50 degrees with come and go spots of rain. Conditions limited tailgaters with most swap meet activities indoors. Shilen had a great selection of on the spot available barrels that went very quickly. Overall it was a nice get-together with a mainly benchrest theme which was a nice change from the typical weekend gunshow. You did have to get there early to get the good stuff. I was surprised with the quantity of available match rimfire ammo at reasonable prices. A good day for all!
