I cannot forgive anything that looks like it was designed by the designer of the MAS 36.

Ran across a Schmidt Rubin in 308 at a local shop. Was in a sporter stock, white line spacers and all. I'd never seen one in the flesh before. All for $415. Kinda cool.

I should have bought it.

If I had a Blaser I'd want a picture of the factory engraved on the mag floor plate.

As much as I love Classic M98 rifles and double in British calibers from yesteryear I think the Blaser is a blow of fresh air. Do I have one?. Nope!. We must not forget there was a time when repeting rifles was looked down upon and only a side-by-side double was the only "real" deal among true sportsmen. The time changes....

I'm with you. Read somewhere recently that Blaser is now the largest selling rifle outside the USA. Never tried one but would like to.

I have contacts, and can arrange a great deal on a Blaser of your choice, for anyone wanting to step over into the "Dark Side" :-)

They are probably a good rifle, but I would rather have a nice looking rifle that will also kill the animal.

Having handled and shot Biebs blaser in Burkina I was much impressed with the gun.

It is solid - had a nice weight to it.

Its a blaser so i assume it is super accurate.

It breaks down and takes multiple barrels - so you can travel with s spare scope and calibre with you.

Looks good - if we are talking ugly I would look at Ruger's new guide gun - why give a rifle a paddle as a butt stock is beyond me.

The detachable trigger and the cocking mechanism is great. Finally a fast quick way to make sure your gun is 100 percent safe handing it to trackers to store on the truck. The triggers fits nicely in ones shirt pocket.

I need to buy one more rifle as a spare/second rifle to my ahr cz and i most likely will get a blaser.

Biebs sold me on the future.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Can't beat the functionality of a blaser. I don't own one but its the next hunting rifle rifle I buy (not counting impluse purchases of left handed rugers, other misc guns).

I'd take a K95 Luxus. But, R-8's and R-93's......eh. Not for me. Too clickity for my taste. Whatever makes you happy. I met a younger fellow once that showed me his deceased Grandpa's workshop & collection of minty 98's. There were minty 09 Argy's 08 Brazilians and banners lined up along the wall in a corner next to 40 or 50 stepped barrels and beat up and sawed off parts strewn about. He said here's what I shoot and there was a taped up worn old Mauser with all the bluing worn off with an 18 inch barrel and a beat up cut down military stock and he was just grinning from ear to ear. Oh sorry. Got carried away a bit. Back to the Blaser roast.
