Texas KillartistNow T H A T is what a 375 should look like .
No obnoxlous, rude, gaudy MB either.
Best on your hunt .

Toomany ToolsUnfortunately the hunt isn’t mine; it’s for a very good friend whom I built the rifle for. My son hunted their last May and bagged an old bruiser who measured 9’ 4” with the previous .375 I built. This friend went with my son in my stead since my wife decided a trip to Italy was more important. When they got back I was asked to build another one and he drew the Fall tag for this year. My son will back him up on this hunt. The stocks for both rifles came from the same tree.

FjoldFantastic rifle, John! I love the stock on that.
If I didn't already have two stocks for my left handed, M70 we'd be talking about building one for me.

Will look forward to a report

It would be very nice to see some photos of your son's rifle that was completed prior to his hunt. Interesting to see how the stocks from the same tree look on each rifle.

bwanamrmWell executed rifle and love the figure in the wood. Very nice!

kiwiwildcatBeautiful!
I've just picked up a 1949 manufacture Pre 64 action. Had considered getting a custom bolt handle fitted but after seeing your rifle I'm not going to bother.
Is yours a .375 length action, or did you modify from standard. I'll build a .375 Ruger on mine.
What profile barrel and length?
She was only the Fish Mongers daughter. But she lay on the slab and said 'fillet'

tysueWhat kind of wood. Kind of looks like English, but figure could be Black. Love the way the figure just in the butt, as pretty and more stable that way.
16 April 2018, 07:23
Toomany ToolsAction was .30-06 which I opened up as the factory did. I contoured the barrel from a blank and finished it at 25”. Stock is California-English walnut with just about perfect layout.
