drhall762Nice rifle. Looks like you mixed in a couple of Mauser shots at the end.

I saw it in person yesterday. It is a beauty, both metal and wood!

mightymouseVery nice work. You don't see many custom Springfields these days, but that one is a beauty.

Jim KobeThis metalwork was done by Jim Dubell; I think it may have been one of the last ones he worked on and he did a beautiful piece of work.

crbutlerLooks good Jim!
Does the "Dubell" refer to the late Jim Dubell of Delta Gun Shop? If so, did he furnish the barrel, or rebore the original barrel?
I mess Jim. He was a pleasure to work with and did wonderful reboring.

Idaho SharpshooterEvery serious old school shooter should have a nice Springfield in his collection.
Especially one this well executed.

That does refer to Jim Dubell. I am not sure about the barrel but it appears to be a commercial one that he re-profiled at the chamber end.

That looks fantastic. I love the stock lines.
I have an 03 action and 30 cal barrel blank in the rack that hopefully will someday grow up to be a comparable rifle. After Petrov passed I re read both of his books and just have to have a classic 03. This build exemplifies the "American Classic"
Well done. . .
