rabbithabitGoodbye my girl
Wife let her out Saturday night and didn't tell me. Will leave the side garage door open for awhile but bet the coyotes have got her. She stayed out during the day and when I came home she would come running to meet me. Probably be looking for her for a long time.

MJinesSorry to hear that. Our cat we had for nineteen years dead several months ago. Like losing a family member.

DieseltruckerSorry for your loss. I had a coyote get my Tom. He had more personality than a lot of people I know. Let us know if she shows up.

CrazyhorseconsultingNo, they ARE people, they are our children that never grow up.
The hardest part of being a human, is that our true friends, our dogs and cats have such short lives in comparison to ours and all they ask from us is love and care.
I hope your friend comes home safe.

rabbithabitWe have had some owls show up here lately so figure one got her. She knew what the coyotes were and would come to the house when they howled. Thanks to all of you.

rabbithabitCrazyhorse is right. Since I raised her off a bottle and kept her inside most of the time she was special. Just wish her mamma had listened to me.

packrattusnongratusThey take a piece of your heart with them. Had to put down my Australian Shepherd following a seizure about a month ago. My companion for thirteen years.

rabbithabitSorry about your pup. They do take a piece of your heart; another pet helps but you still miss the one you lost.
