H&K 91 clones
Does anyone have any experience with the rifles built with surplus H&K 91 parts and the US stamped receiver? Good or bad? Thanks, Bob

<Eric>VFR,
I cannot say much about the HK91 clones, however most are made by Century Arms International (CAI) which has spotty quality.
The HK91 is almost identical to the CETME. I've had several CETME's, all which had to be sent back to fix some problem. I've got one now which works quite well, and is accurate enough for a battle rifle. All I can recommend is that you choose carefully, making sure that you disassemble the rifle and inspect it fully for fit.
Regards,
Eric

Dr. DucI have a CETME and a HK91 clone neither of wich will eject reliably. The ejector is too low in the bolt to catch the cartridge face. I just figured out the problem and haven't pulled them down to see what's off. They are both passably accurate.

MssgnI have heard many bad things about the CETMEs. I have also heard that a few are "perfect". Seems a crap shoot with bad odds to me. Think I'll just save my pennies and buy something besides Century.
The CETME design predated the G3 (91&92) design.
