namibiahunterI just returned from the Wall with my Vietnam unit, Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 365. Here are some pics that I took of our visit to the memorial to our fallen comrades.
HMM-365 at the Wall.
As we came to the Wall and looked up to the names of our fallen comrades a light rain began to fall.
I went to the Memorial to let them know I came.
I walked up to the granite but there were so many names.
I looked until the sky got dark and I couldn't stand the pain -
teardrops falling in the pouring rain.

craigsterEnrique,
Thanks for a great post. I visited The Wall in '93 with 3 other Nam Vets. It was a very moving experience.

We were in country about the same time (from the dates listed and the panels your guys are looking at). The names are intermingled.......I visited The Wall twice now. It is always a moving experience. Thanks for the pictures.

homebrewerI was just a kid during the Vietnam Years. I knew no one who went or who gave his life there. But I do honor the service of every US soldier who went and served and came back and did his country proud in the years after Vietnam. Thank You for your service. Thank You very much...
