Luxembourg Mauser?

Luxembourg Mauser?
Picked a Swedish Mauser today. I believe it is a M96 modified to a M38.

Read somewhere that certain Swedes with this stamp were made for Luxembourg, about 1000 total.

Stamped on breach:
Waffenfabrik
Mauser
Oberndorf a/n
1900

Serial# on side of breach 36697

Anybody heard of these mausers ?
