blackbearhunterInland M1 Carbine
I'am seeking info on the Inland M1 Carbine..
What serial numbers are the most sought after and will these numbers tell if the rifles were used in combat or any other historical info?
I'am just now studying these little rifles and didn't realize there was so much to know...any value's are greatly appreciated...

LionHunterInland produced more M1 carbines than any other manufacturer. Production was limited to wartime as none were built by/for the government post WWII. Serial numbers were issued in blocks by the government as contracts were let; it will tell you nothing about the experience of a particular carbine. Some were loaned to allies both during and following the war.
The "bible" on the M1 carbine was written by Ruth and consists of two volumes entitled "War Baby!" and "War Baby II".
