cndrmWow, those look to be in absolutely excellent shape. (obviously we can't see the bores), but the blueing and stocks look great. I wonder if they were recently reblued? Maybe arsenal refurbished?

D Humbarger Io is InterOrdnanceFrom about 179.00 up, way up. They know the value of the different codes & configurations like the one on the top of the pile with the rail for the ZF/41 scope. You can bet your butt that one will go for over a grand.

Matt NormanAll the K-98's the Russians captured were sent through an arsenal rebuild. They were disassembled, reblued, the stocks varnished, and mismatched parts put back together. Serial numbers were electro-penciled onto the bolts and triggerguards and restamped onto the stock. On most the nazi markings were "pinged"; defaced with a punch.
The bores range from fair to excellent. For $200-$350 you can get a lot of rifle! I have two and they both shoot very good. Intact K-98 "Vet Bring Back" Mausers can cost several hundred dollars more (sometimes thousands!) than these R-C's ("Russian Captures"), and the difference is simply collector issues.

The beauty of these is that they are not all defaced. Some Waffenampts are slightly peened & some were not. The Russians stamped small X on some representing crossed rifles. A lot of history in these guns from Kurst to Stalingrad to Leningrad.

Yeah, and I can't begin to count the rifles I've seen -- gorgeous re-builds, custom furniture, new barrels, and the receiver is a K-98 with all the original markings.

Rich SNothing I saw on their site was near that nice, Are they holding those in reserve for a higher priced option? They sure are purty.
