EdmondThe cursor in front of the rear sight is the safety.
When it is pushed forward, a safety bar enters a notch on the bolt and locks the bolt.
The bolt can be locked in two positions, making in safe in ready to fire ( bolt at the rear)or forward position.
When sliding the cursor rearward, the safety bar pops up and disengages the bolt's safety notch.
