LionHunterI probably shouldn't get into this, but a G.I. M1 Carbine is a Curio & Relic according to BATFE and if it has been in the state prior to magazine capacity limits, which is highly likely, then it is not illegal nor are its magazines, of whatever capacity. Also, I believe 10 round magazines are available for it, which would make it legal in any event.
The only state where this may not be the case is New Jersey, I believe.

GatogordoI was going to say about $750 but it seems they have gone up, so depending on condition, numbers matching, etc. I'd say somewhere between about $750 and $1000 to someone who wants it, BUT if it had some special markings, etc, it could be higher.

Mike SmithDo not take anything below $750 even without seeing it if all parts match. When you say all I take it you know what and where to look. If it is in really good condition, and in fact all the internals and cartouches match, the price can be considerably higher.

Allan DeGrootSelling it to a private party if not arsenal refinished at any time $1200 is not out of line at the top end.
even commercial carbines, Iver-Johnson/Plainfield are going for >$600 at the moment.
