45/70 Govt.CZ-52?
Czech CZ-52, maybe the ugliest handgun of the modern era?
But the cam/roller slide mechanism is derived from German WWII machine guns. Bottle-neck 7.62 X 25mm ammo, the round also used in the Com. and Chinese Tokarov, is super high velocity. The Eastern Com-Bloc countries have an extra heavy Kevlar armor vest they call "The Tokarov." -- because this round penetrates a Kevlar, Threat Level IIIA vest.
Ugly gun. Marginally more attractive (maybe) than the Tokarovs. But hell on wheels!
I have one, double "dings" on the slide -- which denote arsenal refurb. Not reblued. Decent shape, green canvas holster, cleaning kit, lanyard, two mags.
The "hammer drop" feature on the safety is sometimes suspect. Mine works -- but not indoors! *LMAO*
I don't think I'd opt for this gun as "concealed carry" or any other "defensive" gun.
But it's a hoot on the range. Loud enough that others move to the far end of the firing line to get away from the muzzle blast.
I think maybe $150, about 8 yrs ago.
