Anyone know the weight and velocity of the 7.62 x 39 AP and.or the steel core rounds? Many TIA

You mean the chinese stuff? There is no AP in 7.62 x 39. Only in 7.62 x 54.

Not true, I just got off the phone with HP White Labs in MD and there are several variants of 7.62 x 39, one of which is a 120 gn hardened steel penetrator that moves out at 2350-2400 fps. This is not the same as steel cored, but is a true AP round.

I think there is one that's older... Big Sky Surplus in Oregon claims to have the actual AP rounds but at $40 each, it's 3x what I paid for 50 BMG Slap rounds (from Winchester) My thoughts are that ANYthing made in 7.62 x 39 should be very available and very cheap

So, now that I've got the FFL with import accreditation, you want to ship some of those AP rounds over?
