I'm interested in buying one of the Ciener .22 long rifle conversion kits for my AK-47:

I have the WASR-10 version with a 30 shot clip. From what I understand the reciever on these rifles is milled out to accept the 30 shot magazine. The Ciener kit is available in two options, either with a 10 or 30 shot clip. Is anyone familiar with these kits? I'm just wondering if the 10 shot kit will work with my rifle since mine is set up for 30 shot magazines. I like shooting from a bench and don't care for that large clip sticking out.

I do not know specifically for the WASR but if it accepts standard service AK magazine, there should be no problem.
I have modified Ciener conversion magazine to work in many other rifles by modifying the Ciener magazines to adapt them to AK 47, AK 74, Valmet and Galil.
