ID of 1941 Mauser
I have a custom rifle built on a 1941 Mauser action bearing waffenamt stamps with a crest. It appears to be a rifle built (1) for a "friendly" country,ie, Spain; or (2) in an occupied country using their "Mauser" tooling; however, I do not recognize the crest. Any help out there would be appreciated.

I really kind of like this rifle because it was made the year I was born. Kudude

Those Portuguese K89Ks are very desirable.

Try to look unimportant. Your enemy might be low on ammo.

Portuguese coat of arms.

Produced under contract by the Mauser Works in Germany in 1941.

Due to the urgent need for small arms during WWII, many rifles intended for Portugal were aquired by the German government.

Is there a Waffenamt stamp on the front ring of the receiver (left side)?
