D Humbargertop is a BNZ 45 ( Steyr-Daimler-Puch ). grey Phosphate finish, no bayonet lug & no upper band. Some of the sand cast parts left unmachined on the outside. This late war last ditch variation isn't even in Laws book.
second is a BYF 44 ( Mauser Werke ) with the ZF 41 scope.
third is a CE 43 ( JP Saur ).
forth is a BCD ( Gustloff Werke ) G43.

iamgeneVery nice....something to be proud of...you don't see this quality very often.
where did you get the G-43 at? how much did you pay for it? around here, one in that nice of shape would go for over 2000. if you want to shoot it, but don't want it to beat itself up, there is a drop in kit that has some parts you swap with the original, that allows you to enjoy the rifle. then, you can swap the parts back, and wala!, the rifle is all original again.
btw... nice looking collection!

D Humbargerbyf42 thanks thats good to know. What is the source for the parts kits? I've had the G43 for about 25 years. I traded a S/42 Ghost modell for it.
