Anyone know how to load the stripper clips into a M1 carbine

starmetalI believe the stripper clips load into a magazine (removed from the rifle) and it needs that little tool that attaches to the magazine almost identical to the M16 system. Check out this link:

Larry GibsonThe .30 carbine stripper clips have the "tool" (device starmetal mentions similar to M14/M16 "magazine filler") attached to each stripper clip.

Larry is right about that. The kind he mentioned are referred to as the "old style". That link I gave sell both styles.

DickensThanks, i have one and did not know how it worked tryed to use it through the gun that sure does not work.

Yes, the clips are made to strip cartridges into magazines outside the gun, not into the gun itself.
