one MAC 50, one MAS G1, one MAS G1S, two SIG SP 2022



The MAS G 1, Beretta made in France, replaced the MAS 50 of the Gendarmerie Nationale



Recently adopted, the SIG SAUER SP 2022 now in service with the Gendarmerie Nationale, Police Nationale and French Customs.

An historical note, the MAC 50 aka MAS 50 designed PA 1950 by the french armed forces is a PA 35 S on steroid. the PA 35 S was built around the 7.65 French long itself derived from the US .30 Pedersen.
Two pistols used it, the PA 35 A and the PA 35 S made by SACM, designed by Charles PETTER.
The 35 S became the MAC 50, the 35 A became SP 48 aka Pistolet 49 aka P 210..
