tin can
when I was a boy
the father of the kid down the street gave him one of these as his "play army" gun, now it would be worth around 1500 dollars.

can anyone ID the pistol in the photo, lower right?

while it's on my mind, there was another kid who had a Luger that his dad removed the toggle, or some other part, from for his "play" gun.

back then, nobody thought about that kinda s**t twice.

It's a Deer Gun. It is a 9X19mm. Seems it was th Vietnam version of the Liberator pistol. This is according to Military Small Arms of the 20th Century pg77.
