loiblbSwedish Mauser
Shot my Swedish Mauser today at the club.
Every time I shoot this gun I think I'm a good shot. The gun has shot some very good groups through the many years I have owned it.
Is it the round or the gun?
Sweds are well made. My buddy has a chopped 17" barrel rifle that shoots amazing groups.
Military 6.5s have throats so long that most reloaders get the shakes thinking about it; so it is a combination of the good quality rifles, and the ammo fired in them.

Bill/OregonIn my experience with surplus rifles, I rank a Swede with good barrel just behind a Swiss K-31
(has to be the best military trigger ever) and just ahead of a Sako/Finn Model 39.
Very satisfying rifle to own.
I think it is a great round in a great platform. Will admit the Finn rifles really need handloads to shoot their best.

Well, that's two of us.
BOTH round & gun. Well made guns, superior for a battle rifle. And hte 6.5Swede is easy on the shoter.
