I was hoping someone around here could help me a little. Ive got a SMLE, matching serial numbers of 11551, all original as far as I can tell, and in very nice shape. Ive had it forever, and am thinking of passing it on to fund another project. Any idea what it might be worth? Thanks for any replys.

G' day Matt.
As alwalys, we could use some more info: date/maker/FTR/CLEAR pics, etc.
Current values are all-over the place, but in general: high. Starting @ CDN $200 for the right specimen.

G' luck, regards & lookin' for pics ...

b0400879 is correct as far as pics. There are too many variables to price it on the info given. What model??

I sold a 1944 No.4 Mk.1 Long Branch in good shape with matching numbers a while back for $175. Wish I had kept it.

You guys are making me feel guilty; a fellow officer/friend sold me his 1944 Long Branch No 4 MK I matching #s except magazine, pretty clean rifle, good bore for what he paid for it about 5 years ago... $80.00 American. He had shot it in high power matches but had trouble placing with it. I told him I'm sure it will work for hunting deer along the river.

Good luck and good shooting.
