Actually, color footage off WW ll isn't all that rare. My wife got me a whole series of videos, "WWll in color", including some color footage of Hitler and his entourage. Color stills were made before and during WWl.

Nice picture. TBD "Devastators" They got a bad rap because they were easy prey for the Japanese Zero. The Fairy Swordfish was much more dated, but it had success in the Atantice and Mediterranean early in the war.

My dad was on a carrier during WWII. All of the pictures from his ship are B&W. Kinda makes me think everything really looked like that......
