35404The elk population here is expanding both in size and range.
I don't know the regs. about non resident alien hunting though. The outfitters have been pushing for a change in regs. For the most part the free range elk are north or Hwy. 16. Since game farms cannot export any parts from deer, elk etc. most of them have tried to disperse of their herds by offering 'hunts' I find this disgusting myself but there must be some demand for it. I got a 5x5 bull this fall near the Man. border near the town of Norquay. The meat is great, not massive antlers (didn't score them)but a great call and stock hunt just the same.Mark
