Leaving today for Saskatchewan.
8 Days on the Reserve for whitetails. Outfitter has some dandies on camera. Let's hope it gets cold.

Good Luck and shoot a big one. I hunted Ontario and seen no shooters this year.

What and where is the "Reserve"? Just curious and good luck on a big buck.

We hunted the Red Pheasant Reserve. We killed 2 bucks. One 137" 11 pointer and a mistake 110".
I never pulled the trigger. Pretty much bad weather was the problem. No snow and warm and or windy weather.
Kind of the way my whole hunting season went. No leopard or whitetails. Maybe next year!

Join the club.
Canadian whitetails were tough this year.
Was up in Ft St John, BC and no one took a whitetail. Did see about a 140 class but it was the best of the bunch.
Sorry to hear about your trip. Next year...

Sorry to hear your hunt wasn't quite what you wanted. Your experience is shared by a great many this year. The whitetails have took it hard the last couple years in Sask. I had a total of about 6000 pics from my trail cams in an area with great genetics. The biggest one on film I had was a 157. I know that because I ended up taking him. In a normal year I usually have 6 to 10 shooters on film.(150+) But on the bright side we're having just what the doctor ordered in terms of winter for these deer. Cheers.
