Frans DiepstratenTV shows
OK, I read of a lot of TV shows being aired on OLN, Discovery HD, and what have you, none of which I seem to get with my basic cable package. Well, I get OLN, but they only show rodeo, and that idiot survivor guy. Wild TV now apparently is on Telus TV or something of the sort...
Is anybody well-acquainted with all the offerings (digital/cable/sattelite or whatever, I really know nothing about this) that would allow me to catch some of these apparently interesting hunting shows?

Most cable companies out there have the extra channels you want but they charge extra. Usually it's from 2 to 71 if I remember right. Then they have the digital cable that goes even further at a much greater cost but not worth it in my opinion.

Grizzly AdamsHello;
I'm old enough to remember when there were some really interesting shows on TV. Lots of documentary type shows about just about any subject and would you believe even Hunting shows, some with a local flavor, in a 4 channel universe. Nowadays, it seems the more channels you have, the more of the same old crap you get, mostly game shows, soaps and of course that delightful Survivor show and its immitators. The scary part is that to significant part of the population, this represents Reality. We don't have access to cable and have successfuly resisted the urge to get Satelite. If I'm interested in seing something, I'll rent a tape or DVD.
