Thank you

I think this is the native co-op of native guides.
I hunted with them and it is a real "crap" shoot as to who you get and how well prepared. The 70 mile trip in an 18ft boat with 4 ft waves is exciting! PM and I will till you more.

Hi Eny
If you are looking for really great fishing and Muskox hunting check High Arctic Lodge. It's west of Cambridge Bay on Victoria Island, float plane from Cambridge Bay (no long open boat rides across the ocean) first class operation.Just google High Arctic Lodge.

Used to live up there all I can say is the land is beautiful and the hunting can be great. As for the outfitter as one member said its a crap shoot. Lodging can be really rough. I'd check out high arctic lodge if your looking for something better and trust me I'm not advertising for them.

Scottyboy just booked for muskox on Victoria Island for April 2014. He could probably fill you in on who he's hunting with.

Good choice you'll have fun if your going in August or September make sure you go fishing it's un real. Use a pixie with the simulated orange egg sack and hold on!

It has been a while back, 2000 to be exact, hunted with Canada North/Jerome Knapp. Camp was on the Ellice River. It was the August/September hunt and had a great time.

Would not mind going after Musk Ox again.

When I hunted there in Sept. of 2000, caribou were on the menu. I killed a pretty decent bull of both species.

In talking to the guides, the head man of the guide crew related that as soon as everything iced up, he would take his snow machine and go out and 8 to 10 cow/calf caribou daily.

The meat was sold in the store there in Cambridge Bay just like beef is sold here in the states.
