What I the latest position about long FIrearms registration ? I read 06 weeks ago that it will be scraped since it was not cost effectively. Is it true?

If so what is the implication ?

There is a private members bill in front of parliament to scrap the long gun registry. It is unlikely to succeed, since we have a minority government, and all opposition parties officially support even more gun controls. But one can always hope.

They should just scrap this stupid long gun registry we have. It's such a waste of taxpayer money.
