Call maptown in Calgary they have everything, and they ship anywhere.

Excellent advice! That's where I get mine.

McElhaney and Associates also has some great maps, but only for the North East part of the province.

Cheers,

You could give Softmap a try .....

http://www.softmaptech.com/en/volumes/volEN_bc_topo50.html

I've been using this for a while .... I just print up the map section I want on 8 1/2 x 11 and stuff'em in my pocket. You can input your own waypoints etc. then if it gets damaged you can alway print another one.

If you use a Garmin 60 series GPS, the Garmin Topo maps are available for it. I have all of Canada on Topo and need only download the maps into my GPS before going out to chosen destination. Works wonderful for fishing as well, as you can easily marks your spots to find then later.
I find the detail is quite decent: topo lines, roads, lakes and rivers, campgrounds, mountains are very well indicated only treelines and vegetation are not shown.

There is no mistaking these maps for satellite photos, there are no where close to that kind of detail, but the ability to zoom in and out on the maps and know your precise location on it is a thing of beauty.

PM me if interested
